Crazy

Well the last couple of days have been really busy. Yesterday, Glenn came over and completley redid the front of my house -- he took out a tree and cut all the bushes in the front. Mike and I finished the deck, hung new lights under the counter, hung curtains in the basement, cleaned out the back yard and Mike painted the french doors. There is sooo much more I can't even begin. We lit off fireworks last night for the kids in the neighborhood and we had a blast.

We got some REALLY good news today, the contract on the house we love was ACCEPTED. I still can't believe it!!! So now comes the task of selling our house, which Glenn has an aggressive plan to do so. He took some great pictures of the house yesterday (after he cut all the bushes down) and is working on loading all the information up today. I still can't believe it.

Mike and Hannah are working on her project for school, a float on England. Should be a doozy. Mike is using his power saw :)

many things

It's early and we all know why I am up - Diesel. We had another long day yesterday. Mike and I got up early, took Hannah to school, dropped his car off at Saturn. Talked to the guys about the new Sky that I want (they had the one I wanted, all black), picked up dry cleaning and headed out to mall to see X-Men 3. We got there early for the first showing but still ended up sitting in front row. Good Movie. We then came home to talk to the realtor and to put an offer on the house. I ran and got my hair trimmed up, that was a fiasco!! We got our wires crossed on the time and then I think since she was running late and I did not have much time, that she was not paying attention to my cut, and my angles are not what I want them to be. So yes, I am irritated. I then came home to sign papers on the house. What a lot of work. We then ran over to Alyssa's house to pick up Hannah and so Mike could start an IV on their dog, Bailey. He has Lyme's Diease, HeartWorm and Kidney Failure. He has lost over 40 pounds in just 2 weeks. Very sad. He is a yellow lab just like my Bailey. It really breaks my heart because he was vaccinated for Lyme and took his heartworm pills. Not sure if he will make it :( The treatment alone for heartworm is arsenic and he has to get past the kindney issues to even begin that.

So we are waiting to hear today if our offer was accepted. Mike is very nervous and well I have a lot thing going on in my mind. We have not told Hannah yet, because she will not really understand if we don't get it. Now, a new phase begins today with our house, getting it readdy to show. We have some minor things to do that the realtor suggested and then we need to de-personalize the house. Not fun.

had a really long day and looked at a lot of houses --some really bad, but Mike and I found a house that we both love and fits all of our needs plus :) So hopefully we will submit tomorrow morning. I am really excited and we really like the house. It has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths,a sun room, a rec room eat in kitchen and a beautiful back yard!! I am just posing a picture of the house from the back. Wish us luck....

So the house we like is our neighbor's (behind us) house he grew up in. Pretty funny. He seems kinda sad about it, I guess he really loved that house. He says he was there for 25 years and Poppy could come over and clean the pool for us. Not a bad thing... that all depends on what Poppy wears to do it in? Anyway, I hopefully am on board to see at least 5 houses tomorrow, all in the neighborhood around hannah's school and that meet my need for a fenced in yard :)

vacation anybody?

So I have been up for a while (thank you mr. diesel) and I started a few loads of laundry, ran the dishwasher, paid bills and cleaned up the living room. Hannah is off to the Fairy Festival this morning with Brandon and her Grandparents. She has been looking forward to going with Brandon for a long while.

I went over to my friend Kate's for a party last night and to see the renovations she did to the kitchen area. I really liked it a lot and she gave me few pointers. I had a nice time and laughed a lot with my co-workers, mostly at my expense :) I got home around 10 and went to bed. Really tired.

So I am off in a few days to begin the process of selling and buying. I spoke to the real estate guy yesterday to get the ball rolling and so he can start looking. I am nervous and excited! I meet with him on Thursday -- so wish me luck. My goal is to be done within the next two months (all of it) .

Hannah is already up and playing her DS. We had a sad moment this week, Hannah's fish died (no, not those damn frogs) but the fish that kept the tank clean. Hannah got very upset- but I just think it had to do more with leftover emotions from Bailey and Onyx. Mike took her out Wednesday to get a new one and new rocks for her frogs. She also looked at hamsters, which made her very happy.

now off to do more stuff ....

ready

for the weekend. Today is my late day: I take Hannah to school on these days. She has family fun night at school which I can't make because of a prior committment. I am a little tired and sluggish today, still fighting this bug. Mike went to some kind of feline seminar in College Park last night and said the guy was long winded....

This weekend we are going to a Bowie Baysocks game and you can bring your pet. So we are loading up the whole family and going to see a game... should be fun.

Now I have to go do Hannah's hair, not fun :(

not everything sucks, jut a few things lately. Sorry, just had a icky couple of days and no outlet. I had a first last night and it makes me a little sad. Last night was the first time i ever cried when I got my shot. I am sure it is that I was not feeling well combined with hitting the wrong spot, but MAN, I actually jumped off the needle. I had to go through again, and I just realized that I don't think I will ever, EVER get used to this. Three years and some change and nope: can't get my head around this needle. :( Gotta talk with doc about my other options... it maybe time for the IV crap.

What a great day...

I had such a great day. I woke up to the smell of bacon and sausage. Well, that was the second time I woke up. Diesel had me up at 5:30. Mike and Hannah made me breakfast. Then we went shopping for a little bit. Hannah made me a beautiful pink and red bracelet that she insists that I wear to work on Tuesday. Mike is the best, he got me a pink bluetooh headset for my new phone : ) And a gift certificate to go shopping, which depending on how I feel tomorrow, might be on the agenda.

Then Mike and Hannah made me dinner. WOW, it was fantastic. Pork ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, sliced tomatoes, green beans, biscuits and a nice vodka tonic to round it all off. I am pleasantly stuffed :) I think they are making me brownies for dessert.

It's great to be a Mom :) I have the best daughter in the whole wide world :) Now, I need to work off this dinner :)

my weasel

so that is his nickname that has stuck with me. I am really careful with nicknames because it is so easy to slip back to Bay and Onyx's nicknames and I can't do that. Diesel got me up early (I know what is new) and then I begged him to go back to bed after he went outside and we did sleep for another hour.

Hannah is excited about seeing the trotter's today, we are heading down to Annapolis to Griffin's West to have lunch with them and to catch up. Hannah is sitting on the couch downstairs watching a Scooby Doo Movie and Mike is off to the grocery store. Thank god I did not have to do that.

I gotta get some laundry done today so I don't have to do it tomorrow on mom's day...

with my friend Jennifer's camera. I don't know much except it's some kind of canon rebel ( i think) and it cost 1500 smackaroos. This camera is the bomb.... I wonder how I could get one... not sure I need one. This is a picture from her camera before she went on her day of service. as you know I hate pictures of myself, but I love the camera.
I am so relieved to have my house back and done with the improvements. This weekend is for nothing... I am doing NOTHING, except fun stuff. I am having lunch with friends and going out tomorrow night with mikey. And well Sunday is mother's day :) Happy Mother's day Mom & Karen!!! Enjoy the day....

Focus, Gina!

I need to focus and get some things accomplished this week at home. As I type, new carpet is being installed. THANK YOULORD!!! I can't even imagine. I love that everyone is telling me once I do all this, I won't wanna move. I would love to stay people, but I really want a yard for HANNAH, Diesel and Zoe. That is my main objective... I hate knowing what I just did to my house (of eight years) will probably have to been done to wherever I move. The good thing is I found colors that I wanted carry over into the new house :) Hannah is hell bent on getting a Pokemon room . I am going to have to draw the line....I always have to be that person :(

So I am hanging on the new meds. I am having some issues with Hives popping up quite frequently even though I take 2 Benedryl every night. Scary think what would be happening if I wasn't. My appetite is coming and going.. .so we will see. BTW... this makes my medicine count up to five meds for my disease. That does not include the meds I take as needed. Phew....

I will post some pictures soon the house, the girl and the boy :) He is getting biggggggg and very lovie :) Which makes me ever so happy...


I wanna wish my friend Nicole a very happy birthday (this weekend) -- and let her know it only gets better now :) I think we should go shoe shopping soon!!! Big Hugs....

Almost there

Saturday was another busy one. We finished all the trim and doors in our bedroom and it looks really good. It took Mike and I about 4 hours to do that and the ceiling. He is doing some touch-up work now. We sat down to watch King Kong last night but did not get all the way done -- it is a 3 hour movie. I think we only have 1/2 an hour left.

Sunday was for shopping. I had a bunch of coupons for Hannah to go shopping at Limited Too and for me to indulge at the candle store. We stocked up on tennis shoes (I have to have white tennis shoes all the time), Hannah got some really cute sandles and picked out a new nail polish color so I can paint her toes tonight. I cleaned out more of my closet and got two bags together to donate again (clothes, barely worn shoes and towels). Mike installed a new lock on the outside fence and Hannah is playing her new DS game - Animal Crossing (this one won out over a few other based on a recommendation from a co-worker Kathy) Hannah LOVES it and told me to tell Kathy she was right :)

Diesel found the a/c vent yesterday and covered it with his body. Enjoy the pictures...

Bald, blind and skinny

is what I call my new meds. They are the most common side effects :) Today was a tough one ... not sure if it was the new meds or the flare up so I took it easy. I got a call from the nurse to make sure everything was going ok and got some pointers for when I go to the doctor again in a few weeks.

Here are some pictures of Diesel happily chewing on a bone I got for him. Mike finished painting our bedroom yesterday, so now it is just trim work and carpet.

Hannah is off to the flower mart tomorrow. Uh oh I hear Mike asking Diesel if he wants to go into his kennel and stay for the rest of the night. That does not sound good. Mommy to the resuce.

Getting there

so the carpet is going down next week and now we just have some painting to finish and then that puppy is ready to sell. I am getting a little nervous about the impending changes, but I am sure things will go smoothly.

Hannah needs to go back on her singulair, she has had a massive runny nose and singulair acts as an allergy med as well. Mr. Rick picked all the kids up last night and made the rounds to Chick Filet for school spirit night -- 20% of all sales between 5-8 goes to Four Seasons.

Mike and I are hamming out the details regarding which game we will go and see at Lambeau Field ... I think it is going to be the season opener with Chicago. Mike is sooo stoked. Actually what is really way cool is one of Mike's bosses has offered up his frequent flyer miles to fly us to GB. Amazing.

Diesel is doing well. One of Mike's bosses thinks he is a little chunky, but Mike and I disagree. He is into barking right now and it is driving me crazy. And man -- does he torture Zoe....
