Can't believe it myself

but I am sure a few people that know me will believe it. I have unpacked the house and have put 95% of the stuff away. There are only about two boxes left for me to go through. WOW. I got up early this morning (245 am) and began working again and got a lot of things done by 7. Then I went to Lowe's to order my new dishwasher. All the new appliances will be installed on Saturday. It's X-mas all over again.

Hannah had her first ortho visit today and will be getting a spacer put in her mouth in November. She did well today.

Mike has been busy around the house, installing blinds, curtain rods, new outside flood lights, a keypad lock on the front door (no more keys) and so many other things. Here is a picture of Diesel admiring himself in the closet mirror... What a ding dong!!

So WE MADE it!

Gosh what a crazy three days... we thought they would never get here and they are gone. Monday was pack day -- the movers were GREAT. Mike and I spent the night at a hotel and Hannah went to Alyssa's. Tuesday was closing on both houses. It went pretty well. That same day the movers were back and unloaded by 8. We have been unpacking since. Diesel loves the yard while zoe is still not keen on the place. Hannah was so excited last night that Dad got her new bed up that she could not sleep.

Sorry for the typos I am tired and well, done ;) As you can see I finally got my cable back.. thanks god for cable..

Thanks to everyone ... we could not have done it without ya...

It is starting to set in...

We took just a few things over to the new house. We just moved our freezer and mini refrig (it has my shots in there) -- I did not want to jinx it by moving tons of other stuff. The former owners are really cool, they were moving out today and let us set that stuff up and plug it in.

Busy day today, I got up early with the dogs and then went to got get a trimy trim trim. Then Mike and I got some eats at the new diner that opened in Crofton. It was alright. I needed the fuel. We have spent most of the day doing the final push packing. CRAZY!!!

I go back to the docs on Monday for a 4 week check up, which will be my routine for a while. I have felt pretty good and the energy level has remained pretty steady except for a few days here and there. Friday was the first time in a while that I had to take meds at work. I did put in a lot of hours this week to make up for next week. Just so much to do!!!

Hannah is at the Ren festival with Brandon and Justin -- it is Pirates weekend and they always go together!!! She has a busy week coming up with the move, spending the night with Alyssa, Brownies meeting, ortho visit and just unpacking. I am sure by Wednesday I will get the Hamster push from her.
Welp I better go back to packing or stressing ... same diff :)

Another Picture Day

Today is Hannah's picture day. After I spent some time running the flat iron through it I decided to toss it up in a pony tail. There is no way she would be able to keep it somewhat nice before pictures if I kept it down.

Mike and I sold cookies this week, and I am happy to say thanks to the generosity of his co-workers and mine, we really surpassed her goal of selling 200 boxes. We can't thank you guys enough :) Now her troop will have the money it needs to do what they need to do :)

Zoe did good with her teeth, Mike sealed one canine with resin and we will wait and see. Diesel is a silly boy. He went to work with daddy this morning.

We this is the last few days in the townhome... We move out Monday. Everything is in place for the movers to come at 9 in the morning. Then we move into Fall Ridge Way Tuesday night!! I have been getting all the crazy calls this week for the last push of the paperwork, so everything is in order!! Well that is what they tell me!! We will spend the rest of the weekend packing up the stuff we have been surviving on and sleep in a hotel Monday. I am so ready for this to be done ;)

I missed a happy hour for friends last night because of all this house stuff, they affectionately called me lame. That's ok, they meant it with the best intentions (ha). In our staff meeting they gave me a gift certificate for the new home and Chris McDaniel wrote a great note on purple paper... It made me smile... And made my day. I will pin it up in my new house. Thanks guys, you are the best.

Final

Well this is it, this is my last week at Wentworth Drive. I can't wait for all this to be done. Mike and I are hitting new levels of anxiousness. I got up early this morning (I am pretty sure it is stress from the impending move) and did some more packing. Diesel kept me company. Zoe is peeved because I could not feed her this morning because she is getting her teeth done by dad. I am a little worried about her teeth, she somehow managed to break both her front bottom canines while I was off. I would hate to blame Diesel, but come on.
They guy we are buying the house from called me this weekend and asked if it was ok with us, he was leaving his pool table. I said "ARE U KIDDING?" please -- we would love it!!!
Hannah is selling Girl Scout cookies for her Brownie troop, or shall I say Mike and I are selling cookies. I hate having to do this, but I understand why they need it. On top of that her school sent a fundraiser home, yeah, that went into the trash. They come home every other month. I guess b/c I went to private school I am not used to all the fundraiser, you are lucky if we did one a year. And Hannah's class is always asking for supplies ..... public school .... really does suck your money one way or another.

So I have had my discussions with the breeder, and Diesel's parent's were just bred and the pups would be ready at the 1st of the year. They would all be yellow and I would want a male. Their is already a waiting list, but she was so kind to me, that she said she would move me to the top of the list and that she would love for me to have another. Mikey is moving in that direction, with my begging and pleading. The only issue that I see is the real sticking point is where would the little bugger go everyday, Mike is not sure if he can take the doggie everyday....
hmmm... more pondering...

Well, another week comes to an end and we move that much closer to the move. It is starting to sink in and it is very overwhelming but exciting. Hannah is counting the days until the move and the hamster. Mike is counting as well, just to get it over with and get into the new house. This weekend will consist of more packing and list making for me. Hannah has some brownie activites on Saturday and Mike has a work event.

and you know what Sunday is for, FOOTBALL. The picture is from the game on Sunday -- we were really that close and the only time GB was near the endzone...

We had the best time...

It was totatly worth every penny, even though they lost and played really poorly. I have tons of pictures that I will post later.

Moving Along.

Well we are finally into September and the move seems a tad more real to us!! The last couple weekends have been spent packing, so we are living in the land (and piles) of boxes. I went back to work on the 1st, and I feel (knock on wood) pretty good. I began the routine of schedule disconnection services and set up services for cable, phone and post office. We unfortunately had to get a new phone number because we are moving out of Crofton to Gambrills and there was no way I was paying 46 extra dollars a month to keep my damn number. BAH!! I have hired the movers and the only thing that is really stinking is that we have to store all our possessions with the moving company over night since we are closing on a Tuesday and have to be out by 10:00 am. Oh well, another price to pay for the house...

Hannah has begun purchasing the hamster necessities, since she can't get a hamster until after we move. She has brought a massive Hamster home, some kind of edible hamster shack and a hamster play pen. More animals!!

Mike is still in heaven since we leave for Green Bay on Saturday. I still can't believe we are going to Lambeau field to see Brett Favre play. Somehow I think we are establishing a habit... I am sure this won't be my last visit there.

Diesel and Zoe are doing well. Fighting like cats and dogs and completely confused by all the boxes. But I keep promising that it will be well worth the confusion. I am pondering (in the next year) of forgoing my new car and getting a friend for Diesel. I am thinking that I would like to get another one from the same breeder. Diesel needs a dog that can hang with him and not get hurt while playing with him, Zoe is just too damn small for him. But time will tell. Mike will kill me...

Super Dog

After packing up alot of stuff this weekend and watching some really bad horror flicks (scream 2 & 3 and I still know what you did last summer) - we decided to head out to the malls to do some labor day shopping. Besides some school clothes and shoes for Hannah, we got Diesel a halloween costume. Who can resist!!
