poor, poor hannah

Hannah went in her room tonight to take care of her hamsters and she found Berry almost dead. Mike did everything he could but to no avail. Hannah is so upset. It broke our hearts. :(

man, was I mad or what yesterday

sorry about that folks, sometimes you just need to get it out, put it someplace else and move on. And that is what I did... take it with a grain of salt.

Enough is Enough is Enough

my goodness, it's only Tuesday evening and I am already beat. I guess beat doesn't quite fit. I am toast, burnt toast actually. The doctor did not deliever the best news yesterday. My options are becoming more and more limited because I already am on A LOT of medicine (doctors exact words). He actually threatened me with a different chemo drug ( for the severe cases) and bumped up my appts to monthly. I need a fuckin (excuse me on that one) break and someone needs to give me one soon. I am so tired of running around and breaking my neck for those who do not appreciate it one bit. I am tired of being treated like a tart and worst of all I am just tired of going through the same stuff over and OVER again.

Yeah, I know Gina, suck it up and take it!! Well you know what.. you can suck on it for a while.

A Snowy Gambrills... and puppy

Well four hours later, the snow is coming down really hard. It finally starting sticking .. on the one picture you can see a really red cardinal in the bird feeder :)

Here it comes again

the snow started about a half hour ago and the temps have drop since I got up at 6. Yesterday was crazy, got up at 5 to get my car to emissions, then to the car wash, then to the pedicure and brow appt, then target , then hair appt and finally a birthday party at the North Arundel Aquatic Center. Crazy. And in the middle, I managed to get the laundry done. I was so tired I fell asleep at 9:30.

Hannah has a book report to do today and to clean her room. Mike is installing a side shelf in the packers room to display the Favre helmut. Me, I already made breakfast and stripped all the beds.

I thought I would enjoy some sleepy shots of Ripley and the snow.

ahh jeez, am I tired. I am struggling to stay awake right now and it is only 7. I have had a really long, trying week. But hey, that is why they pay with me wee bucks right :( I did call the doctor to try to get in earlier and was pleasantly surprised that I actually have an appt for Monday. Now I can go through a battery of test again and get a referral for a specialist for my kidneys. They are very VERY unhappy again and I just can't go through that crap again.

I also got a kick when I picked up Hannah today at SACC. They are not offering it this summer :( Now I got to figure out the summer . I think she is going to play soccer starting next week. She is excited!!!

Ok, so I have only wasted 9 minutes doing this and I am still tired. I need to just take my damn medicine and go to bed and wake up and do it all over again....fun fun fun for the stanford family.

Door was hung today and it was not easy. The guys is coming back on Monday to finish.

Hannah is off on Monday ( I have been home with her way toooo long) -and has a brownie thing in the morning.

Ripley is getting HUGE. I know I have to post pictures, and I will soon. He is almost 25 pounds at 13 weeks. I still can't get over the size of his legs.

V-Day

Well it was a long day. I got up around 4 to check on the weather and take care of three very awake dogs. It was gross out there. But I decided to stay up and watch what was going on around the area. It took them forever to announce Hannah's school, but they did and I finally fell asleep around 6:30 and got back up at 8:15 because I heard Mike getting ready to go to work. Apparently the animals still wanted their dental. Hannah and I chilled for most of the day -- my energy level is still tilting toward the non-existent side. Then Mike came home and brought us lunch and then we tackled the front yard again and the sidewalks. Hannah was a great help! Then we fed the birds and went for a road trip. Best Buy, pet store, clothes store and then the book store. We all stocked up on a few books and headed home. Mike made dinner for him and Hannah (I am not so hungry) and popped in a movie.

I am struggling to stay up -- I have one more work day this week and then some much needed time away from the office to catch up and take care of myself. We are having the door installed going into the Packers room on Friday and some deliveries on Saturday.

I think I gotta check on when my next appt is suppose to be, cause I think I should and need to go sooner. I have been so busy with Hannah's appts that I can't for the life of me remember when I have mine. That is such a classic mom move.

Well, I hope everyone had a great V-day.. I did. Now for the perfect ending... SLEEEPPPPPPPP!! Peace out...

Not Good

it is sleeting pretty good out there. This is me hanging out my window depressed that my car is already cover in ice again after I just cleared it off about an hour ago...

Mike got another nice v-day gift. Yes, that is a full sized- signed Brett Favre helmet. Yeah, crazy.
Lots of work going on this week -- we just installed a new ceiling fan in the packers room. Set up the new furniture in the sunroom and so many other things.

Puppy Loving

Diesel and Ripley are really handsome dogs. Ripley had a few milestones this week -- no more warm water on his food, hit 21.5 lbs (11 weeks) and ZOE finally bit him. I told you people she is a bitch. She got him right above the eye and it scared the shit out of him. Not sure if he is done messing with her, but Mike is done with her.

Long week for me. I am really an struggling these last few weeks with major fatigue and taking the pain meds everyday ( at least two times a day). I am ready to curl into a ball and do NOTHING. Which that is my agenda for Saturday while Mike and Hannah venture off to Alyssa's party. It is time for a doctor visit soon to see what is up.

Hannah gets her report card next week. Can't wait.
