sick of this crazy weather

So I have spent most of my weekend in best fighting a cold that is reeking havoc on my ashtma. I finally got out of bed today and went downstairs. Hannah had her trip to Toy R Us and got some nice games for her DS and some Bratz dolls. She has been held up in her room playing them :)

The weather is very nice, but not good for this time of year. My blossom tree is blooming because it is so confused ...

Oh yeah, my new dining room tables and chairs came -- LOVE IT!! Hannah picked out a nice centerpiece set up for it :)

Tired

I just realized that starting off your week tired is NOT a good thing. Sleep has not been my friend latley and I am not sure why. But it is catching up to me and my whole outlook ....

Hannah had a HUGE meltdown in a store last night, so needless to say she is in trouble for her behavior and has had some things taken away for the week. Hannah is asking about her Aunt Denise, so we need to figure out what would be a good time for them and go down for a visit.

Onyx is doing pretty good, hanging in there. And Diesel is getting BIG. He still goes to work with Mike everyday and this is what he does for most of the day -- sleeps in a kennel :)

Warm and Breezy

Today is a weird weather day. It hit in the 60's and was nice and breezy. We took advantage and got up early to do chores. We ordered our new dining room set. Cleaned and put away all our CD's and books in the attic. Bought a storage box for outside so we can start to clean up and repaint where the washer and dryer reside. We then hit Arundel mills and we shopped for fun. Nothing exciting for me -- more clothes and candles :) Hannah got some pokemon cards and Mike is still searching for more packers memorabilia for his man room when we move.

Enjoy your weekend everyone....

Up to no good

Diesel loves to pose for the camera-- when he sees it or hears it, he automatically sits and looks at the camera. Zoe on the other hand could care less. Enjoy
PS.. Onyx is doing good and chillin with Dad downstairs. :)

over a hurdle

with Onyx. He seems to be doing much better. I am cautious because I still am not clear as to what happened - but his appetite is back and he is not throwing up. We will see :)

My rants for this morning -- I drove behind someone this morning who had no break lights. How the hell do you not know your brake lights are out and it is SOOOOO annoying to drive behind someone is traffic with no breaklights.
Oh what's with the new Circulator buses. I keep seeing them on the road (coming out of MD) but I never actually see people riding in them? Werid.

Oh and I can't stand football people who can't handle when their team loses but have no problem rubbing it in when your team loses. Pathetic.

Onyx had a rough one

It was a rough day for Onyx yesterday. Despite all the meds he rec'd he still continued to throw up all day long so we gave him sub q fluids around 8, and then decided it probably time to take him up to the emergency vets for IV fluids. The crappy things is when we got up there and told what was going on they wanted us to euthanize him. When we said no we wanted fluids they continued to harp on his conditions and said he would not get better. Mike and I decided it would be best to take him home and once they heard that they decided to give more fluid and an injection of anti nausea meds. He did good through the night and Dr. Golden called this morning and talked to the emergency vets and did not agree with what they were saying either. His Blood work came back and his amalayse was elevated suggesting pancreatitis. So no food today and more meds. We will see how today goes. He is sleeping comfortably right now. I love my boy sooo much...

Dog Days of Saturday

I am starting to have a real phobia about Saturday and my dogs. We had to rush Onyx up this morning because he is not eating and he is throwing up and have massive blow out you know what. We thought it was it. Very eerie of the time when Bay had to go up on that Saturday morning early. Mike ran him up for x-rays at 8 and they found the cancer has spread more to his lungs and his lymph node on the back of his leg is the size of a large golf ball. He then brought him home and we started a iv with fluids and vitamin b-12. He then threw up again and we were back at the vets, aftet a another series of x-rays, several injections of meds and blood work -- we are hoping for a bad case of gasterenteritis. If he is not better in 48 hours, then we know the cancer has moved into his bowels and a decision needs to be made. Since be home he has thrown up three times :( I really hope its not the cancer...

Hannah ready for bed

So I had a rough one today -- I guess you could say I am a little crispy around the edges. I actually came home and fell a sleep until 7. Had not done that in a while. These past two days with Hannah has been odd. She has forgotton a portion of her homework twice -- so the trip to Toy R Us is off for this weekend. Mike just got a call -- his grandmother is not doing well and she is in the IC unit and he went up there to see her as it does not look good. Very, very sad.

Today's weather messed with me -- I had no idea it would be cold and rainy -- the weather man did not say that this morning. I had a nice lunch today with a co-worker to thank me for work on a project. It was Yummy -- went to Clydes. Nice

I got my donations for the Children's center out for pickup tomorrow -- so I now I need to get Hannah ready for bed.....

Diesel is growing

my little man is growing all up. He got his final round of shots on Friday and weighed in at 32.3 pounds. The next item on the to do list is neuter and chip implant in two months. He is a handful but a wonderful addition to the family. He is enjoying sleeping with Mike and I and it has stopped the 3 in the morning pee runs :)

enjoy my boy playing with ice (he lOVES ice)

for heidi

Heidi -- this is for you :) ---
I wanted you to get a good look at Diesel's face and body -- he's not a shorty or a squatty lab. I have pictures of his dad (totally beautiful dog) and will post them later. Hope you like -- hey when do you wanna play cards again :)

I am glad I still can laugh

so it was my first day back to work and it was a good day. The only downfall -- legs not quite up to par :)
It was a long day for me - Diesel and I got up at 5 and when I was in the bathroom he was laying next to me and all of a sudden this huge yellow puddle started growing out from under him (yes he was laying down). So there it started :) DORK WAD!!!!!! He got mad at me because after he went out and ate breakfast he was put in the kennal so I could take a bath. He wanted to play around and try to attack me in the bathtub. Not a good time to bother me, this is my only quite time of the day.

Hannah is eating her fast food (tuesday) -- McDonalds was the request of the day. She wanted to know why I was sooo late picking her up (20 minutes) traffic was bad and I had to pick up dinner and Wedding Crashers :)

No news about Favre today... that is a good thing.

I got some friendly advice today that made me giggle (that's a good thing) -- that I need to probably exercise . Sure -- I will jump right on that. Right after I work, take care of a child, three dogs, a houshold and a husband. I do the best that I can -- but it still makes me giggle.
Here is a picture of Hannah and I taken about 4 years ago -- that makes me smile too :)

Vikings fire Tice after season-ending win -- another good day of football. GB and SF won their final games. I am anxious to see if GB fires Sherman and if Favre retires -- I hope he doesn't.
Hannah spent the day at the Fosters -- having fun. Mike and I watched Football all day --- he is very happy that the redskins won and now are in the playoffs. Oh yeah, I forgot to tell ya -- I got Mike the siruis boombox so he could listen to the last green bay game :)
I some how (yet again) hurt my wrist-- so it is wrapped and I started back on painkillers.
The dogs are good. Diesel just hit 16 weeks and is well over 30 lbs. Onyx is getting fat( he gets to have whatever he wants) and just got put on some NICE painkillers (I might have to snag one :) and Zoe is good -- feisty as ever.
