Not so good weekend

so the weekend ended up being a bust. The weather sucked and I had a flare up that required me to take a decent dose of very heavy meds. Hannah had a house guest to ease the cancellation of our baseball game.
I am happy that Mike is off a few days this week and are looking forward to our time. I find myself missing him tremendously when he has to go to work on the days I am off, I miss the company, the jokes, the food and the man :)

Hannah starts camp in a week for about 5 weeks, then sometime with her friends and may be Aunt Denise again (it all depends on my aunt) and then she starts school. This is her last year at her school around the corner, so sad.

The dogs are good, one is FAT and one is still eating something he should not and Zoe finally got groomed. NICE.

So I began

my vacation with a little bit of feel good news: I got a letter from EVBB stating that Diesel's first donation went to Turnersville, NJ and saved a life, he is already a HERO!!! I also picked up Hannah last night, which made me very happy!!

I begin my 11 day vacation with Hannah and the dogs today!! We are going to see Wall-e today!! Should be fun! And tomorrow - a birthday party for one of her soccer buddies and off to see the baysox again with Nicole, Mark, Sam, Dylan, DiDi and possible Brandon. Kids have such a hard life.

I so need this time off, if anything just to get away from work. Hannah just told me her frogs had babies, how is that possible since they are both girls? Oh jeez, off for another adventure!

Made IT!!

I did it, I made it through two parties yesterday!! The girls spa party went well and the after party was fab. I did manage to surprise Hannah with my Aunt, Kim , Joseph and Bobby. We had a rather large cookout at the house and I am glad to say no major problems or accidents. I believe I counted wrong, but close to 30ish people were at the house with a large number of kids adding to that number.

Hannah had a blast!! She did get stung by a bee while catching fireflies. Imagine that. 3 kids decided to stay the night (not a bad number considering I could have had a lot more). Three of the kids are sleeping in Hannah's bed. Which is only a twin!

The only downfall is I never got a chance to eat:( I did manage to snag me some leftovers so I can indulge today.

I am so glad everyone came out, even Nicole and the boys!! Hannah was worried they were not going to make it, but they DID. Thanks Nicole!!!

Hannah leaves for the beach today with my Aunt. She will have a blast that is a guarantee and she can take all her lovely gift cards and money she got for her b-day and have a little shopping excursion.

Welp, the pictures are in the normal place -- enjoy. I will go eat now...

I can't believe it

Hannah turns 10 on Saturday. Time certainly does fly. It makes me sad to see her grow up so fast, but it also makes me proud. She is one smart, independent, sassy, caring, passionate, beautiful young lady. Hmm.. I wonder who she takes after....:)

Anyway, she will celebrate in a big way on Saturday with two parties. Then she is off to the beach with our favorite Aunt -- Denise. I will be sad while she is gone, but know she is having a blast with one of the neatest ladies on the planet...

Soccer Party

Last night we had our Soccer Party at the Bowie Baysox. We had an all you can eat buffett and fireworks. Nice time...

We have been crazy this week, and it will continue through the end of June. Hannah turns 10 next week and we are celebrating in a big way - two parties.

No More School!!!

I can't believe it, but yes school is out. Hannah finished of the year with a bang with Honor Roll and perfect attendance!! To celebrate, I took her out shopping today and got her a pedicure tonight. We had a crazy week, our AC broke but we manage to get it fixed before this massive heat wave rolled in.

At one point today, I checked the weather and it read 95 degrees but feels like 107 degrees. What the hell is that? How do you adjust?

I spent the day indoors, got my errands done early (it was still damn hot), did a lot of cleaning and house work today to get ready for Hannah's 10th birthday in a few weeks. She is having two parties - One spa birthday with all her friends and then a cookout with all family and friends!! Actually the next couple of weekends will be brutal for us. We have the soccer party at the Bowie Baysox, a wedding(Hannah and Mike are in it), Hannah's two parties and then another fiesta at the Baysox with Nicole, the boys, Joseph and Bobby. I am tired thinking about it. I am finally sitting down and it is making me tired.

Hannah has a fun couple of weeks planned before she starts camp. I am glad I can work two days from home now, it makes a HUGE difference with my health.

Finally, the dogs are doing good. Not liking the heat cause they can't go outside that much and play. Diesel is resting his head on my leg, sleeping. Ripley is at the end of the bed enjoying his reflection in the mirror.
