What a really good game and what an amazing quarterbacker. He did it!!!
They also beat the Vikings (what can I say Mark, they really do suck this year) -and are now 4-0 -- they haven't done that since 1998. Only two more weeks and we are there!!

Soccer 92907

Good day for early morning soccer. They tied and boy do they need a lot of work. Not a problem, because Mike is the coach.

CHICAGO

Wow, I just got back from a nice visit with my friend Jen C. Jen LR and I flew out there Thursday afternoon and got back this morning. I had the best time. I think it is because it was like being at home. We did the tourist thing on Friday since Jen and Steve had to work. Went out to dinner and had a nice time. Saturday we went shopping on Michigan where I hit American Girl, Ann Taylor Loft and Old Navy. Then we had a fab dinner at Hugo Frog. Sunday was amazing. Steve and I watched football all day while Jen and Jen feed us food :) I had the best time with the dogs -- it was like being at home with my puppies. Which totally made it easier for me to be gone. We have already made plans for Jen to come in December for Jen LR's baby shower.

I loved every minute of it, even flying Enjoy the pictures!

Going Green

So I have begun "Going Green." I started when I bought the house by replacing all the appliances to more energy efficient models. I just went through the house and began replacing all the light bulbs with energy efficient light bulbs. I just replaced 11 of them and have few more to get. Mike and I are actually considering getting a tankless water heater, which is expensive but in the long run will save tons of money and energy in the long run . Why don't you do your part and start going green .... it can only help.

GO PACK GO

what a way to start football season. Watching Green Bay win. Nice. The man can still play and get the job done.

We go there in about 5 weeks and I have to say i am looking forward to it.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..relief, comfort and FUN!!!

Finally, something normal!! Football is back!! I am sitting on the couch in front of my 42in plasma watching some football. I can't wait for Sunday. A whole day of IT!!
We had a football celebration at work to kick it off and we had to pick teams out of bowl -- whichever team wins the most games in that two week period (2 games), wins. If there is a tie, it will be determined by points. Guess who I picked? The fucking Patriots. HA. I am almost GUARANTEED to win. Not a huge fan of them, but I know a winner when I pick one :) Mark should know, I kicked his ass enough in the football betting arena.

To answer a question, YES, I AM READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL! (can't you tell, I have morphed into trash mouth)

What's a girl 2 do?

i had a rather interesting day at work. Chaulk full of almost all useless meetings. All very interesting and a little irritating to me since I have something tickling in the back of my head. My test results, I still can't shake all the icky feelings of what it can mean. I haven't slept much in the past few days and I feel my patience slipping to non existant. I also have this all this pent up frustrations that I need to work out. Just need to figure out how. Any suggestions?

Diesel celebrated his 2nd birthday on Saturday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDALLLLLLLLLL!

not your typical

disabled person. So I got an interesting comment from a work colleague the other day and it's not the first time someone has made this comment or alluded to this “it seems kinda funny that you have that kinda of car and you have handicap tags." I always get offended by that comment, not for me personally but for the stereotype that many folks have towards disabled folks. If they can't see, feel, touch it then it can't be. Well that is just stupid. They have this vision in their mind: that if you don't look disabled you can't be disabled or handicapped. Well, that is just not true. I would prefer not discuss my issues with work folk, but sometimes I just can't help it.

It is difficult enough for folks to admit or come to terms with the fact that they are indeed handicapped or disabled, then to actually advertise it by getting tags on their car, but to have to sit there and justify it to people just because they don't "look" it is downright degrading.

So, keep your comments to yourself or learn to expand your mind and break the cycle of what you think a disabled person should look like.

It's been a while

I had had some difficult times over the last couple of weeks so I have not had time nor the energy to post. It was all capped off with some not so good results about my kidneys. I have got to get this shyte under control. Hannah started school and loves it. She begins soccer next week and Mike is the head coach (YIPEEE).

She is at the Ren festival today for her ONLY visit this year. She has too many obligations and not enough time. I can't wait for football to start next weekend. We are heading to Green Bay in October.

Anyway, I have things to do...... enjoy the doggies (I just bought a new camera!)
