it ended today with a bang. We got rained out after the first game. We stayed and after it cleared we played on the slide, dunk tank and the moon bounce. We had it all to ourselves. Jen C came with Jen LR. We had a great day!!! I love the picture!! Enjoy

Another Dog Day Afternoon

Good Lord, I was outside from 930 to 6 today and I got fried. We had a blast doing yard work getting ready for Hannah's 10th birthday party. Too much to do, so little time.

Hannah only has 9 more days of school. What a whirlwind!
We have one more weekend of soccer and that is the ASA day.
Jennifer C is coming to town next week and going to spend the weekend with us ( well kinda of -- her demand is great).

It is official. Diesel is a donor dog and had another successful donation. His bandana says "I saved a life" and indeed he did!! Good job buddy!

They really did not play well at all today. If we would have kep score it would have been like 15-0. Terrible. But it is a beautiful day and Hannah and Brandon are playing outside. Mike and I have coaches dinner tonight for ASA. We are planning an outing with the team to Bowie Baysox - which should be fun.

A free saturday

So for the first time in like 6 weeks and actually 3 seasons, soccer was cancelled. So it left our day kinda wide open. Hannah had Hailey over for a few hours and we have kinda chilled all day cause the weather has been all over the place. I actually had time to start the planning of Hannah's birthday party in late June. I think I am still in shock that she will be 10. Where did those 10 years go?



Anyway, it was a short work week for me-- that ended with a trip to the doc for a checkup and wound up turning into a new experience. I have to see a new specialist next friday - cardiologist. I know RA and Lupus can affect your heart and lungs, but thought I would avoid that hit. Hopefully this is just to rule things out and nothing serious is going on. I will remain positive and just hope for the best, but also hold onto my little mantra " I am never given more then I can handle." Ain't that the truth, but man do I get pushed.



Welp -- Happy Mother's day to all you moms: New mom, Jen LR, who is spending her first mom day in the hospital :( --

yeah, they started of will a quick score, but that soon faded. I believe this team was undefeated and the final was at least 5-1. Not their best game -- they all seem to be on their planet and really not interested in the ball or playing together. Well only two more games...
