it was a bit cold out there today, but still a good day. This is Hannah and one of her BFF's - Hailey. They lost but still played very well!!! I took a bunch of pictures -- some good and some well not :)

Not quite ready
to go back to work tomorrow, but I guess I will. I enjoyed my time off. I did a little shopping today to prepare for my week of interviews.
I went to Hannah's soccer practice tonight. I had been alone pretty much the whole day and just wanted to be around folks. It was a tad bit chilly.
Easter went well. Lots of cooking and eating. I was exhausted by 6:00. Whew.
The dogs are doing well. Diesel does his first blood donation tomorrow. If all goes well, he will donate every 7 weeks.
I think I am going to slice me a piece of the yellow marble cake that Hannah and I made yesterday. DEELISH!!

The simple things in life....
I managed to make it through another short week. Hannah is on spring break and so am I. I am trying to get everything together for Easter and can't stop taking pictures of the dogs. I know there seems to be a lot of pictures of Ripley and you are right. He does not mind it at all where as Diesel now runs from the camera. Ha.. I have over saturated my dog with a camera. Ha. Oh well!! Enjoy and of course there are always more pictures at the same spot -http://www.flickr.com/photos/loveoflabs/.

ok.. so not good choice to vent on this thing. I offended people that I DID NOT MEAN TO OFFEND. MY SINCERE APOLOGIES.

Spring?
I love to watch all the birds in my back yard. The black ones are not my favorite, they are very aggressive and pigs when it come to seed. But the robins are finally back which means spring is on its way.
This has been a crazy week, beginning with Favre's retirement. That totally broke my heart but well the man deserve a break. Then two of my former co-workers resigned. I find that interesting. Then to end it all off, Ripley broke a toe. Not just any toe mind you. He broke his duclaw. Not interesting you say. Well, he had his duclaws removed when he was born. this one decided to grow bone under the skin and he broke it. If it does not heal in three weeks, we will have surgery.
I got to open some early b-day presents this weekend and I think I am going to bake a cake. I love yellow with chocolate frosting!!!! We might head up to the Melting Pot Thursday night cause it's Restaurant week here in Annapolis. We have never been there so we figured we would give it a try.
My birthday is coming up on Wednesday and I have the day off. That is gift enough. The fun part is that it is also my car's birthday. We might have to go and tear up a few roads that day...

Zoe kicks ass
