So you will notice all these pictures from our trip to Orlando, FL. First I have to thank my Aunt Denise (look Aunt Denise -- a crate myrtle!!)and Uncle Brad(mr ALLIE -Gator) for changing their vacation to some exotic island to going on a family vacation. You made our vacation (our first in 8 years) and Hannah's 7th birthday they best ever!! We also were blessed by having Hannah's godparents come down for three days. TiTi Kellie, Uncle Steve Baby Wes, Aunt Denise and Uncle Brad made the Disney World " visit the happiest place on earth"-- well at least the most expensive place on earth :) .
So now I have to also give props to the nickjr hotel. Brilliant idea and brilliant setup. Everyone who went, wanted to stay at the pool (they had four and one had the sweetest slide setup that Uncle Brad and I could not stop going on!!) Security was great -- you could not get on the property without a pass or a visit to check in. The hotel had its own mall, movie theater, kidspa, restaurants, nickjr lounge (for that occasional much needed drink for mom and dad), arcade and internet cafe all for the kids. The pool area had show that involved the kids and parent every hour or so. Yes, they even had miniature golf and hoops!! And finally a bar at the pool helped make the "but dad, I wanna go back in" more tolerable! If you have kids and are going to Orlando, you have gotta try this place out. So worth it!
So I must say the trip was a success, even though we did not hit all the parks that we wanted- but that is ok - -Hannah chose everyday what she wanted to do and that was the whole idea around this trip.
So again, thank you Aunt Denise and Uncle Brad for the whole experience. You are the best!!!
